The September 28th Trunk Show

The event was so much fun and there was an amazing show of support from friends, family and many new friends were made that day. The atmosphere was filled with great excitement and positive energy from everyone, especially the shoppers. They were lots of "wow's, "OMGs" and "This is wonderful" comments captured throughout the event. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You to everyone who attended. I can't wait for the November 23rd show, where we will have fun Holiday gifts to explore and treasure.

I have provided some highlights of the Sept show for you below... but don't forget that these are only highlights, because several of the vendors provide multiple forms of art, from cards, photo wall art, keepsake books and multi-media art.

Below is a captured moment of ladies discovering the handmade knitting of Renee's sweaters, shawls, wraps and more... Her work is absolutely amazing, not "typical" at all. Her work... you have to see it up close to appreciate. You will find different fibers and ribbons knitted into her creations, giving them more dimension and character then any "standard" knitted piece you see in stores. What a gift she has....

Another special find is the creations of ShaRhonda below from "A Touch of Soulful Creations"... Amongst the treasures is a featured item(s) which is the mason jar martini and margarita glasses. All I can say is "Brilliant!!!", and you get the straw and lid to match. How fun is that, to have a margarita party with these!!! I love the lid, so if anyone is dancing with one of these in their hand they won't lose a drop since they come with lids.... again... Brilliant!!

The Holidays are just around the corner, and if you're like me you want the one special item that shows how much love you have for that ONE special person (s) in your life. Well, this gal has it, hand made and designed by Julie for you is these amazing patchwork quilts with the holiday theme in mind. Julie is so wonderfully talented and also fabricates handbags as well.

The beauty of art is that is comes in so many styles and colors and when one jumps out at you and makes you say "Oh My...." it will be said here with Sunny's special designed Holiday cards. She designs for the traditional and the shabby chic alike. Very clean and elegant styles for those of you  (like me.. lol) with a specific taste in mind...  ps she also makes beautifully jeweled bracelets and earrings. I must admit I had to pickup an earring set that said "Audrey Hepburn" all over it.

Now, I know there is a time and place for everything, and sometimes you need a little sparkle and bling in your life. Well, Kathy from "The Final Touch" has the selection to quench your design pallete. Her designs range from sweet and elegant to fun and light hearted. She also has holiday theme images as well. Oh and she has a little somth'n special for you sexy ladies out there like the sexy black cat with the sultry golden eyes you see in the photo below... LOL!

Magic happens everywhere, and you can only see it if you are paying close attention... "Two Elephants" is a store with various artisans represented. They have rings made of wood but are transparent and look like glass, they have Bears that are made of family heirlooms. The range of product is incredible. This product line is a must see at any show...

Elegant.... clean.... simple.... is the design esthetics of Jai at "Tall Tree Workshop". This couple was stopped in their tracks when a special piece caught their eye... amongst the various designer made cards that Jai offers is this one of kind Quilling Art. This is an intricate paper craft requiring patience, creativity and an eye for detail, and has it done so elegantly. This is a wonderful feature in her line.

Art is found everywhere and the Kitchen is no exception. While chefs everywhere create their masterpieces for the dining table, they also ensure that the dressing of their kitchen is equally beautiful.  Paula from "Giraffcity Studio" provides the perfect solution with her designer made plates. Yes, plates that rest on an easel with a chalkboard face to serve as your Menu for the day or simply writing a note to remind you that you have a dinner party to attend that evening. Each plate is specifically designed to compliment different elements, from clean lines of a city home kitchen, to a seaside community and even the Provencal in mind.

For the curious at heart and those seeking a "special find" you will find it at our shows.
These ladies are taking a closer look at the creations of Lynda from "BellaLuzDesignz" that would be me... hehehe! They are looking at my memoir mini books. These are a four page book with pockets, tags  and charms on every page and the cover. They are differently themed, from steam-punk, to world traveler, the paris lovers and all the elegant ladies out there.

My product will continue to evolve as do I. In the current line you will find the mini books, 5x7 mixed media art, resin purse hangers (with my art), gift tags that contain my digital designs, 8x10 Key boxes that contain special dimensional stories, and my pendants as shown below:

I have added a few more design images to the pendant collection, they include the steam-punk cats and Seaside Mermaids along with coastal shells.  In my next blog, you will find the entire collection and close up images of each.

I was amazed and blown-away by all the vendors who participated in the September show. They were so wonderful, and kind and exceptionally professional. I was blessed to have such a wonderful collection of ladies to work with that day.

A special thanks to all of you took time out of your day to stop by and spend some special time with us and created some fond memories. Thanks again for everything!

YOU ARE  ALL AWESOME!!!

If you missed the September show, we will be having a show on November 23rd. If you are interested in attending, please email me at bellaluzdesignz@yahoo.com and I will be sure to invite you.
Thanks so much!
